Hawaiian Islands in Photographs

I was raised for ten years of my life on the island of O’ahu, Hawaii and feel extremely fortunate to have lived in one of the places that many people save up their whole lives to take a one-week holiday to. Below I will share with you the beauty of this sacred place through photos that I took over the years I lived there.

During my ten years on O’ahu, I attended college at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, followed by several jobs (usually three at a time to make ends meet in the top three most expensive cities in America!) Some fun ones included marketing for a water sports company and being an extra in the new hit TV series, “Hawaii Five-O” (yes, Alex O’Loughlin is just as gorgeous in person as he is on TV).

In the 2.5 years prior to leaving the islands, I was lucky enough to land a job as an Activities Sales Agent / Concierge for Expedia Local Expert, where I “sold fun for a living”. This job (which never felt like work, rather, an extension of who I was), enabled me to experience everything I sold for free (luaus, Pearl Harbor, snorkeling, neighbor island trips, six-passenger propeller planes to Moloka’i, etc.)

Hiking is one of my favorite pastimes, and yoga poses in high elevations abound. Please enjoy these photos (all taken from by me) of the spectacular place that I am so lucky to call “home”. (Click on each photo to enlarge it.)
