Pacific Northwest Outdoor Photography

Welcome to Washington…State, that is. I work in the tourism industry and have heard countless unbelievable stories of tourists who arrive and the first thing they ask their concierge is, “how do I get to the White House?” *hand slaps forehead*. We may not house the country’s capital or a bunch of drinking lawyers and politicians (replace that with geeky Amazonians, coffee-drinking fiends, and a bunch of really awesome outdoor enthusiasts), but we do have, in my humble opinion, some of the country’s most spectacular hiking, camping, mountaineering and landscapes. Within a two-hour drive of the city, you can be in the rainforest, the coast, the desert, the snow, or mountain peaks that make you feel as if you are in the Swiss Alps.

Below are some of my favorite photos of hiking, camping and adventuring in the Great Outdoors of the Pacific Northwest, nature’s most fun outdoor playground! All photos are my own.
