Olympic National Park

Besides the Kalalau Trail on the Na Pali Coast of Kaua’i, never in my life have I seen so much green in one place. After two years of living in Seattle, I have finally come to appreciate the rain because it creates magical places like Olympic National Park.

During our trip over Labor Day weekend in 2016, Sasha and I camped for three nights at Heart ‘O The Hills Campground, explored the Hoh Rainforest, Rialto Beach, and summited our first peak (Mount Angeles)! The views were spectacular looking out over the Straight of Juan De Fuca and right into Canada’s backyard. We were lucky enough to not come head-to-horns with any mountain goats, but we did swim in the second deepest lake in the State of Washington, Lake Crescent at 623’ deep.
