In October of 2016, Sasha and I jumped on a plane to what is known to Hawaii locals as the “Ninth Island” (better known as Sin City, or Las Vegas). And no, we weren’t after shopping, prostitutes, gambling or strip clubs. We did, however, have some of the best tacos at 10 in the morning at a place called El Dorado Cantina (which just so happened to share a space with the most popular strip club in Vegas, but that’s neither here nor there.)
What we were after was sun, hiking, and adventure, and we found it in two of Utah’s most strange and beautiful national parks: Zion and Bryce Canyon.
Sunrises were the best and worth getting up early for!
Got caught starin’ at that booty!
We were a bit too late to see the Fall colours, but caught the tail end of some nice reds.
A little upside down action…
Making our way up Angel’s Landing
Our lifeline for Angel’s Landing
We made it!
Playing with fun angles
Look ma, no feet!
Enjoying the world with this guy is the best. ❤
We’re good at being goofy 🙂
Day trip drive from Zion to Bryce Canyon National Park, about a 2.5-hour drive.
Hoodoos are by far some of the coolest patterns of nature I have ever seen anywhere in the world.
Hey goat, hey!
